OK, the bracket holding the driver's side sun visor broke because it's made of the infamous brittle Volvo plastic. It broke from the two screws holding it. The wire pulled out (that goes to the mirror light) and just before I cut it, the door chime started ringing. Now, the chime rings nonstop while the car is running, and the dome lights will not come on. Is there a wire that got crossed in the roof?

 

It shorted out, either on itself or on the chassis. Change the fuse, and if it blows again, you'll have to chase that wire down and cap it off.

 

Yup, a blown fuse is all it was.
