What? What's a cold air intake manifold? Never heard of that before.

 

Gilber33 is just giving you a hard time. He does not like the term 'cold Intake'. They are sold be several companies or you can make your own.

Yes and no. I was confused by the "manifold" at the end. I know there have been custom aftermarket manifolds made for 850s/x70s and I didn't know if that was what you referring to or if you did simply just mean a cone filter. The intakes sold by IPD and EST are drop in and requires removal of the stock air box, the rest hooks up with the existing mounting points.
