Volvo 850 - Aftermarket Suspension
#2
Welcome to VF Coilepolert
I looked into it a while back and didn't find a lot of options. I ended up with the stock stamped steel from control arms and you can find suppliers that offer poly bushing replacements. If you do the suspension you should do the engine mount and trans mounts too IMHO.
There is an aluminum front control arm but I can't remember what year model it comes from. They look great when cleaned up with the poly bushings installed.

as a plan b for the control arms, you can look around for poly bushings to replace the factory rubber. If you are ok with OEM control arms, I'd start with IPD HD sway bars and the matching HD end links. Then you have a choice of after market springs (ie H+R) with premium struts/shocks like Bilsteins or Konis - buy the ones that are matched to replacement springs. Otherwise go with Coilovers. Finally look for a strut tower brace. Depending on how much you lower your car, you may want to look into camber bolts.
