I have a 1995 volvo 850 and i can't get the keyless entry to program, i have tried the key programming way by turning the key on and off 5 times and holding down the unlock or unlock buttons on my remote and after many atempts it wont program, what coud be the program?

 

You have to have it programmed by the dealership

 

There is no way to program it on your own?

 

There's a thread like three down from this one about keyless entry. Pretty sure you need to go to a dealership for that.

 

Nevermind, looks like you can do it yourself, tech said he posted on here once upon a time how to program it. Try searching for it.

Have the dealer check the remote for free and go from there.
