I have a 1995 volvo 850 and the other day i noticed that the oil was low when i checked it after i had just topped it off. Where are these cars common to leak or where could it be leaking from? Thanks

 

Rear main, cam seals, dip stick, turbo return, oil pan, oil cooler. Start there. Best to clean the engine then keep an eagle eye out.

 

Yea jack the car and degrease it top & bottom then check it within a few days. Look for oil drips or puddles on the ground which can be a teltale sign of where on the engine the leak is located. Pray it is not your rear main seal which will weep oil where the transmission bell housing mates to the back of the engine at the very bottom of the bell housing.
