Default Volvo 850R led headlight bulb

Anyone ever tried the led bulbs on amazon? Im thinkIng about the Beamtech hb4 bulbs. Good reviews and only 37$ . Anyone use them?

Did you ever purchase the LED bulbs? If so, what was your result?

main issue with LED bulbs is they have a different resistance from traditional halogens and will likely set off the bulb out indicator.

That makes sense. Would be annoying to have the warning light on all of the time.

Also, appears that this is a solution for low beam only and no high beam.

you may want to google around to see if there's a hack to keep the warning light from coming on (lol short of removing the bulb from the back of the cluster)

Good idea. I just wondered what 860ARE's experience was with the bulb, if it even made sense to try.
Saw somewhere where different bulbs were a bear to get to fit because it was so tight.

The bulbs are still in there working fine. Warning light bulb does not come on. Although to install I had to remove the headlight and remove the lens in the front and do some custom work to make them fit. Which involves cutting some housing. And yes I only did the low beam for now. Cheers
