Hi everyone, i need some help, my 850R '96' is having a few running issues, when driving normal the car is superb, but when i accelerate hard i have a misfire type hesitation and the car will not pick up, for example in kickdown when overtaking on motorway, ive had the auto box checked for torque converter problem and all was clear, ..... HELP, cheers

 

Change your spark plugs and wires. Then see if it still does it.

If you have not replaced the plugs, do it. The factory gap is .028"...gap them at .026". (Been there, done that...if you know what I mean)

 

I had the identical symptoms on my V70 turbo. I changed the plugs and it now runs fine.
