There is a DIY fix for the blower resistor. However I think it is easier to get it from a junk yard.

 

where is the resistor? how can i tell if it is bad.


also, where is the obdII port? im embarassed to ask that.

 

The resistor is behind the glove box and the Knee bolster(Metal piece behind the lower dash panel.)

The OBDII is under the coin holder.

 

ok...well the resistor was bad...so was the blower motor...
but that all works now...

tha bad part is that when i went to recharge it the compressor wouldnt come on. hopefully its a pressure switch. keep your fingers crossed for me.

ok...looks like the clutch is going out...it works for a few moments and then shuts off. any one know where to get just an AC clutch? not the compressor.
