Default Warning lights

For the past little while my 850 turbo has had an odd hesitation when you give it a lot of throttle on the highway during passing manouvers. Today it did the same thing, but now I have my check engine and abs warning lights on. Car isn't driving any different, it did hesitate just before the lights came on. I still haven't found a code reader, has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

What year car do you have? When was the last time you tuned it up?

Its a 96 turbo wagon. When I had it checked by the local volvo mechanic check it out he went through it, and it looked as though it had been tuned up recently, new plugs etc. That was a little over a year ago. I noticed the hesitation a couple of months ago, only on the highway under hard acceleration. I figure the check engine light is going to lead to a code, hopefully to do with the hesitation, but I am confused as to why it set off the abs light too.

Default Follow up

Just a follow up to my problem. Been to busy to deal with it myself, plus I still don't have a code reader, so I took it to my mechanic. Turns out I had a couple of cracked vacuum lines, including one to the turbo, so the codes were for overboost and misfire. Mechanic feels that the overboost led to the misfire, so he replaced the vacuum lines and reset the cel.

I am going to replace the plug wires next paycheck, since it's possible they may have played a part in the misfire. Any recommendations for plug wires?
