Default What´s the procedure to check for turbo problems?

I want to check my turbo. What´s the procedure? I read something about checking to see if there was oil in the intercooler hose. Can anybody post step-by-step instructions? Sorry for my ignorance, I am trying to learn.

Regards

Almost all cars will have some oil in the intercooler and hoses. (the intercooler has a drain hole for the oil to drain)

The only real thing you can do is remove the induction hose from the front of the turbo and feel the blades and shaft for play.
