Default What the **** have i done?

Just changed my crankcase ventilation and drained my coolant to flush the radiator and put in new coolant. The problem is that it does not run like it supposed to and when i rev the motor the whole engine bay shakes like crazy. To me it sounds like a cylinder is not firing, but i'm no mechanic. I'm trying to bleed the coolant and get rid of airpockets, it does not seem to be circulating just expanding. In addition my exhaust is spitting out fluid, and i suspect it is gasoline coming out(strengthening the theeory of one of the cylinders not igniting). The crankcase does not seem to leak oil, but there is still pressure in the oil and smoke comes out when i pull out the dipstick, even though i changed the whole crankcase ventilation system. This may be because the colant is not circulating, but i'm not sure. The engine seems to get unusually hot.

Some follow-up questions for the coolant issues:

1. Did you measure how much coolant is required and how much you put in? Any difference would indicate air pockets.
2. Did you open the coolant reservoir cap and squeeze the upper radiator hoses? This helps reduce air pockets.

Yes, i think i have about 1 liter excess fluid. I did open the reservoir cap, but did not squeeze the hose. Will try this. But does this warrant the sounds and shaking the engine is making?

Yes, I do not believe the engine shake is necessarily related to coolant. Just trying to isolate one issue before the other.

I recently did my coolant. Giving the large coolant hose, adjacent the reservoir, a few squeezes helped me flush out the air pockets. You may want to do this a few times after each run of the engine.

As for crankcase ventilation, that is the likely culprit for engine shake. My first approach would be to retrace the connections to the cylinders.

I have tried squeezing both of the big coolant hoses, but i can't seem to squeeze out more air.

As for the shaking i think i have found out what is going on. I don't think it's the crankcase ventilation(i pray to god it is not), but it seems that one of my spark plugs is not igniting. The plug itself seems to be fine, but i have not checked the wires, the distributor or the coil, but i think it is one of these that is causing my problems. It also explaines why there is fluid coming out of my exhaust. Will check this first before i check on the crankcase.
