Dang. This one makes mine look like a cream puff.

holy shiz....

I love the busted glove box mod... the cracked and missing chunks of dash mod... the torn seats mod... the missing fan switch mod... the weight reduction of taking off the throttle pulley cover, and all the little strap on cheap aftermarket stuff.

If someone is going to give this guy 7k for his car... I'd be willing sell them mine for 6k and deliver the dang thing... That is crazy over priced...

regime, what are you putting in the cool aid there? LOL

Turbo Matt, I posted mine for $6,500 but I'm very open to offers. As long as someone doesn't come at me with nothing stupid like $2,000, I'm willing to try to work something out. My car is pretty nice, super clean on the inside and just has a few small dings on the outside. I'm just fine keeping it forever but has always wanted a nice fast wagon. That wagon would help me kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The rare yellow T-5R, and the sleeper/utility wagon.

What's the story on that wagon? I have the money, but don't want to step on anybody's toes. Been very busy and have not logged on for about a week so this is the 1st time I saw this thread.

Dont stop on my account. I can not afford it and I wanted to post it up for the board to see! My only request is that I get a ride when you buy it and travel through Atlanta.

I just e-mailed about the wagon and the owner is out of the country until tomorrow. Hope this is not a scam like it is so often with Craigslist. I sure wish it was closer to me because I can not get away from work right now to look at the car.

Anybody close enough to take a look at it to see if it's legit?

Don't let me slow you down either. I'd rather see you get it than someone that I don't know.

I am in GA but he is about 2 hours from me. I think the guy is Legit though . He responded to my CL inquiries pretty quickly and I know CL has a bunch of scammers. If he was closer I would definitly check it out for you. Here is his email info.: Martin Howley [howlinmad58@yahoo.com]

It's a sweet car and if I had the money I would be all over it.

If we hadn't just bought the Saab, I'd be all over it as well. Ragged or not, theres nothing really wrong with it that cant be fixed.

its not a scam. usually scammers dont use good pics like that and write a lot of info about the car and also when they email you its either random letters with a link ( virus) NEVER CLICK THE LINK or they say something like " i want your item. My secretary can send you the money" then they send a check in the mail for $1000 and say something like " oh my secretary made a mistake. Cash the check and take your money plus $10 for convenience charges and then send the rest to me.. "

I just e-mailed the owner and told him I just don't have the room for another car, nor do I have the time to look at it right now.

Definitely sounds like a legit deal on a car that is quite rare. After thinking about it though, it's just not what I want right now and don't have the room to just store it. Wish I did. I really want an XC90 V8 in bright red to tow my boat.

Martin, the owner of the wagon in Ga, has e-mailed me several times. He bought the car in 1997 in Germany and had it on the Autobahn where he said he passed up BMW's, Mercedes and even a Porsche. All with five people in the car with luggage. Said he had it up to about 140. If I didn't already have my sedan I swear I would buy it.
