whats my problem? trans, turbo?
can and overfilled auto trans cause an 850 to not accelerate as it should?
Can a bad turbo build any boost?
I completely drained my oil....is there any possibility that now that its filled that the oil still isnt getting everywhere it should? I emptied the oil in the turbo as well (see very bad day post to find out how)
I fear I roasted my turbo. But 1, Im not certain where the bad noise is coming from and 2, I need to know what are the signs of a bad turbo.
Again, the car just doesnt have the GO it had before my stupid attempt to chang the trans fluid(in which I dumped the oil out and added 3 qts of trans fluid to the trans)
Here is the sound she makes now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuHbT...1&feature=plcp

It's not uncommon for an oil change or some other service to reveal a problem that is about to surface. Sound like you have lifters sticking or something.
If your oil pump goes out it will not pump oil throughout the motor. The quickest way to tell if your motor is getting oil through it is to take the oil cap off and look in there while the motor is running. If you see oil in there it's likely getting oil.

You can do some damage to a transmission by overfilling it but in this case I'm almost positive your problem is totally engine/turbo related. You really didn't drive it enough with the excess trans fluid to damage the transmission. The worry when it's too full is foaming. That way the clutches inside the transmission can slip as the pressure of the hydraulic fluid that holds them together so they don't slip is dissipated with the bubbles. The bubbles will compress and lower the effective pressure holding the transmission clutch packs together and they start to slip and burn up.
