Default Whining noise

After cold start this morning I have noticed a wining noise in timingbelt area, it is hard to say though where it isexactly coming from but it’s definitely on a left side of the engine. Once car wormed up a little bit it was gone, I let it cool off and the same noise came up again when i started it. I have changed timing belt this summer but I haven’t touched anything else there. Any idea what it is?

Most likely a bad tensioner or idler pulley. (timing belt)

It has got to be one of the pulley's not the hydrolic part itself.

I would replace as soon as you can if it comes apart you will be looking at about 3k for the repair.

When it is cold out, our 850 has a groan/moan sound that is RPM dependent from the timing belt area. It lasts for about 30 sec or so then goes away. I ahve used belt dressing and it seems to help. Just my .02

It is like replacing the timing belt.
One is held on with 2 12MM bolts the other is held in with a T-45 I believe or a T-40.
I bought one and cut it down some to fit properly.
