wilwood brake kit
My friend traded me some welding for a pair of Wilwood 360 mm brakes for the front of my 97' 850R Wagon. He is a master mechanic for volvo and had them on his 850 before selling it and keeping the brakes. They are black four piston calipers with vented and new cross drilled rotors and pads . He says they have about 10,000 miles of non abusive around town driving. I will be doing the same kind of driving, and have heard these are a good upgrade. Does anyone have any experience with these things?
Thanks,
Chet

Quite a few people on VS run them. From what I've read they're good brakes, probably a little overkill for just city driving, but a good brake upgrade nonetheless. Those aren't a direct swap, unless your friend gave you the brackets for them as well, you'll have to get some brackets.
I dont know how the balance is but I drove the car that these were on and it stopped on a dime. has anyone here done this conversion and either left the rear brakes stock or changed them out?
Thanks,
Chet
