Default window stuck

passenger side won't go up. I took off the door panel, no help. I removed the center console, but the switch is all one piece. Assuming there is no manual way, I saw an old post where a guy took wires straight from the battery to the window motor. Good idea? I just want the friken thing up. If I jump it, what guage wire should I use? And where abouts do I put the wires on the motor. Thanks all.

I got it. I was a little nervous, but I just took to regular wires from the battery to the window motor and it went up like new. Glad I found that old post on this site. Thanks all.

I found a really good deal on new at swedish eng. It's suppose to be here tomorrow, so it looks like it's plug and play. Is that true?

For the most part. You will have to remove the Center Console then undo a couple of clips to get the wiring out.
You will see once you get the console out.
