'04 C70 Convertible - Windows dropping on Ignition on or off
So this problem began happening a couple of days ago and is a weird one. I searched and saw a couple of similar problems, but didn't see any real solutions.
When I start or turn off the engine, when the key gets to the center position, all four windows go down. I can put them back up either individually or using the 'all windows' switch, so the switches seem to be working properly. If I hold the switch in the up position while starting or shutting down the engine, no problem. Or... if I turn the key quickly from off to on or on to off (not pausing in the center position), the windows stay up.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi There I'm a newbie...I'd be checking your Ignition switch, can you Imagine how many times that poor thing has been switched on? I worked for Volvo, this is new to me However I'd go for the simple things first, My Driver side window on my C70 would not go up, so I sprayed the channels with silicone spray, problem solved. I was quoted $200 for repairs.Silicon Spray $2:95 au.
