Hi I have a c70 soft top in wonderful condition externally for its age, I have issues with the engine and general driving .. it pulses and takes a while on start up, and on driving seems to depower intermittantly until fully warmed up, recently this has got worse and there is a squishy almost washing machine type noise at times is the best way I can describe it ... any help ideas appreciated.

 

When was timing belt replaced? Has fuel filter been replaced? Have you checked spark plugs? In the US you can rent a NOID tester to test fuel injectors @ auto parts stores. LPT or HPT engine?

 

Hi not checked anything .. but will do. To be honest I bought a year back as A runaround when I'm in France .. I don't even know how to open bonnet ! ... but thanks
