Hi Guys, Sorry if this has been asked before but as its Christmas day i kinda need a quick answer

As i left work this afternoon, when i tryed to start my car the battery was dead, upon trying to open the bonnet, i heard a ping but it didn't release properly, the passenger side has released but the drivers side is still locked, i thought as i could get to the catch in the middle by squeezing my fingers under that this would release the, lot but i'm afraid not, soooo is there an easy way to open the bonnet as one side has released? thanks in advance for any advise and merry christmas to you all
