2000 C70 starting problem
Hey guys! Need help in the worst way. Problem started that if car was shut off after running five minutes, it would only start after sitting for about two hours. I was told the temperature sensor could be at fault. I installed a new one, with no success. I then found I had intermittent fuel delivery at the rail. I could shoot starter fluid in the intake and it would hit, but my gauge showed no pressure. I changed the fuel filter, the fuel regulator at the fuel rail, and finally changed the fuel pump. The pump runs after turning the ignition off for approximately 10 seconds as it should. I disconnected the fuel filter hose and there is no fuel coming through it. I even tried jumping the terminals on the fuel pump relay to bypass it. I hate to keep throwing parts at it by elimination, cause it's getting expensive. It now sits in my driveway with no fuel to the engine. Could the antenna ring cause this problem? Or does someone have a clue to what is going on? I would be eternally grateful for help to solve this baffling problem.
