Hey guys,

I just bought my C70, but was unable to get the maintenance history on it. I changed the oil immediately and the air filter was a little dirty, but not bad. The battery and alternator tested fine.

What else do I need to think about? I'm thinking at this point:

transmission fluid change
timing belt replacement
new plugs


Anything else? Can I use plugs of my choice?

Any general (or specific) advice you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

If you are doing the timing belt, replace the engine seals there too. I would also replace the water pump although a lot of people say not to bother unless it is leaking. I would also flush the coolant, replace thermostat, serpentine belt and replace the brake fluid. You might as well replace the cabin filter and possibly replace the top engine rubber damper if the rubber has cracked.

You will most likely have to rebuild the front suspension in the next 20K miles.
