'98 C70 Coupe - Drivers Side Window Whistle
Now that I have fixed the dash rattles (thanks RSPI for the excellent youtube videos) - I am moving to next problem to make my commute a little quieter.
The drivers side window has always whistled every time I drive over 45 mph and its getting a little annoying now.
I can eliminate most of the noise if I stuff a folded piece of paper towards the front side (about 6" from the mirrors side) 0 I just edge it between the window glass and the seal.
I heard that there are 2 screws that control the angle of the glass. Question is: where are they? I can remove the door panel but am not able to find the screws.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Window glass adjustment
Remove door panel completely. Look for bras colored screws 1 on each side of the bottom of the window regulator frame. These are fine threaded. Screws turned in window glass tilts in toward seal. Do them evenly counting the turns. Dollar bill test will tell u when it is right. Dollar bill slips out at top both sides of top with a little resistance, good seal! Did mine, perfect now. Do hose/water test also. Put hose squirt nozzle about 8 inches away, squirt water around glass edge, no drops inside, good seal.

mine on my 2000 c70 coupe are under foam round cover pieces. You have to peel them off or break thru them to get to the screws. Looked like a screw with a nut. The screw takes an allen key or torx key to keep it from turning.
I have to do my passenger side. It whistles and lets water in...

My nuts were tack welded to the window regulator frame by OEM. Procedure should be same. Hold nut turn screw. Get right tool at Harbor Freight to turn screw cheap, for 2 model years there are a lot of little differences between 98 and 2000 vehicles. Glue Styrofoam back on to bolt heads. It is $1100 for an independent Volvo repair shop to do the job, more at a dealer. I did mine for $45. Good luck.
