C70 Cell Phone Volume

C70 Cell Phone Volume
I've read the owner's manual, searched the web, and even asked the dealer but, I can not get a clear answer.
The bluetooth works fine as long as the top is up and we are driving below 60 mph. Is there a way to raise the volume when the hands free is activated?
Thanks

I just bought a 2011 C70 and am very frustrated with this same problem. Even with top up and volume turned all the way up, I can barely hear.
I think the problem is that the bluetooth phone connection only goes to one speaker up front and does not seem to go through the stereo volume. I can only hear it from one speaker. And the only way to control the volume is with the steering wheel volume control. The **** on the stereo does not work when you're on a call.
If only there were a way for it to run the phone volume through the amp and speakers, I think that would fix it, but I'm told that's not possible.

Thanks for the info. At least it sounds like I'm not alone with this issue.
My college aged daughter bought one of those cheap hands free jacks that works through the radio and it works better than my expensive factory installed Volvo system. I hope the Volvo guru's come up with a solution.
