Default C70 , hit or miss?

Im looking at purchasing a 2000 C70 coupe. I've heard mixed comments on this model. Is it really worth getting into one? What kind of problems and I signing myself up for?

1998 model LPT or HPT is the way to go.

I have been operating a 2002 c70 and have had no problems other than the incidental that one would expect from a five year old auto. I would have the transmissions fluid changed along with your brake and coolant ASAP. I have the trans fluid flushed at the Volvo dealer and rather than use the Mobil/Volvo fluid, the dealer uses the same fluid as in a G.M. product. Every two years I have this service performed and have had absolutely no problems.

r.

I have a 2000 C70 its been great to me so far. Consumer reports only marks the 2000 model year as a warning so 98-99 01-04 are 'good'.
