It's actually the other side. the side connected to the air filter housing comes off quite easily after removing the 2 torx screws. It's the other side that's the problem. the side connected with a big jubilee clip (connected to the long plastic pipe). It looks almost 'moulded' to the MAF sensor housing. I'll have another go at it tonight and let you know how I get on.
