did you check the fuses? On my car, I believe that fuse is in front of the driver, but under the hood. (smaller of the two fuse boxes)

Good luck.

Mine always take forever and a day to move and sometimes just say "screw it" and not move at all. Hope you figure out whats wrong.

Default seat wont move

Hi I had the same problem once 0n my 1998 C70,there is a toggle type override switch low down on the right hand side of the backrest that has to be fullover to allow the electrics to work, (you can reach it by hand) Open up the seat cover (leather/cloth and secure the switch with a strong elastic band then the electric drive will work.(originally this rotary switch was held by a small spring). Hope this helps.

On both seats in the back where they pivot there is a micro switch it is activated by a plastic nipple which is infamous for breaking, there is a fix your dealer or a Volvo mechanic can help with that OR you can do what I did and remove the seat ( I removed both to save future headaches ) and wrap wire around the micro switch so that it will be always on ( the switch is there for safety reasons
