Considering purchasing a C70, but need advice.
My 2000 Ford Taurus may be on its last legs. I inherited it as a company car and it's done very well. 150,000 miles with all original everything. Other than changing its oil every 3,000 miles (almost religiously) I've spent very little in any type of repair.
I've always wanted a convertible, and plan to buy one when the Taurus finally dies, and the C70 is on the top of my list.
My question is how dependable are the Volvo Convertibles? Am I buying a car that I probably won't have to worry about, or do they start causing minor problems after awhile. I don't usually follow the reommended maintenance schedule, I just make sure the oil is always changed. Is a Volvo one of those cars that really require the services?
Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.
Thank you.

fcpgroton
ipdusa
etc and look up parts.
Generally after 7 years the whole front end is crap.
Look at 1200 wholesale parts at a min.
wheel hubs
tie rods
bushings
control arms
shock mounts
shocks
CV joints
and then the engine mounts, top and bottom, trans mount, and then internal engine components like timing belts, serp belts, tensioners.
All told if no service has been done in 7 years then count on another 1500 in parts for non front end related issues. If you are handy then great, if not look at doubling that for labor.
