Default Crank Position Sensor help

Hello everyone. Long time no see.

I have an '02 C70 Coupe that I am working on. It needed a new Crank Position Sensor. As I am loosening the nut to remove the sensor, the plastic mount underneath just crumbles and the bolt appears to have sheared off. That leaves a metal sleeve with alot of wiggle room and nothing to secure the sensor to.

Am I completely hosed? Any thoughts?

What's the easiest solution?

Here's a picture:

You're going to have to get another sensor holder; the whole plastic thingy, or try some super glue temporarily.

I think the screw that sheared is held by the plastic.

Thanks for the help, Ed

I went with superglue because that bracket looks like a pain to replace. It started up fine when it was put back together. The problem right now is that the car stalls twice then runs fine afterwards. I scanned for codes but no codes are set. Could the stalling be related to the cps or should I just wait for another code before I bother moving forward?

The car is still new to me and no service history came with it. The cps and brakes were the first things on the list.

Any response is appreciated.
