Default Dead batteries

I have 59 plate 2.0D, first of face-lift version, and yet again the battery is completely dead. Same happened this time last year and fitted a new exide battery. Now same thing has happened again. Has anyone had any issues like this? Of course it might just be bad luck and a duff replacement battery. Thanks

more likely you have a current drain. is the care coming out of storage or something where you haven't been driving regularly? start by measuring the current draw with the car off/key out etc.
