Default Door is closed, but its not tightly closed.

Tech, Can you same me once again? When I close the door to my convert. It seems its not actually closed fully. I first noticed it when I look in my side view mirror, my pin strips dont line up from my door to the rear quarter. No interior door beeping is happening, and my interior lights are not on.

Today I closed my door with the window down, and it seems I am able to wiggle ( for lack of a better word) my door in and out. It moves about 3/8".

I used search and found https://volvoforums.com/m_44291/tm.htm Do I have a a bad lock assembly as well? or is there an adjustment I can do ro pull the door in tighter

Thanks

S.

The little catch that is in the body. Try moving that in a little bit and see if that pulls the door in further.

As always you are correct. Thanks. I looked at thos quickly in the rain but did not realize they are able to move as much as they do. One of the bolts was semi stripped ( enough was there for me to tighten it, but I would like to replace it. Is there a nut in the back ( somewhere in my door) that will fall down if I remove the bolt all the way to replace it?

That is one plate behind there. I would only remove the one screw and replace it.
The plate is supposed to stay if you remove both screws but I never trust it.
