My 2000 C70 has been running great for a long time, then today when I was out on an errand it took me 6 times to start it. Did it again when I got back home. I have 105,000 mi. on my car, seems the ETM is beginning to go? Probably lucky I made it this far.
I know the dealer did a software upgrade last year, is there any thing else they wiil be able to do to keep the car reliable or do Ineed to pushto have themreplace the ETM?

 

Push them to replace it. They will clean it probably and send you on your way.

 

Also if you have another key try using that and see if it happens again.

 

I think along the lines of TECH...........ie: I'll bet your immoblizer antenna is on its way out.
