foglight glass broken
hi - we have a 1999 coupe and i noticed the other day that the glass of the right foglight was broken in half (half of it missing already). i took the sorry rest out and was wondering if the glass can be replaced or the whole light needs to be replaced. where can one get that stuff, apart from the friendly volvo dealer?
thanks

Yeah I do believe you have to get the whole assembly. Which can be bought from a few places.
1. Dealership, yeah I know you want other places.
2. If you take a look at the VolvoForums Resources thread that I have linked in my signature you will find a bunch of sites that can help you out with this.

The entire lights needs to be replaced.
Not sure if the aftermarket sells the C70 foglights yet or not.
I know no one makes the 850R foglights which are very similiar to the C70 lights.

3-m makes a product that adheres to the fog and head-light lenses. I installed the product on my c70 after losing a headlight on a German auto. The 'film' is quite inexpensive and is laser cut to fit perfectly. It is inexpensive insurance for your lenses.
