Gap and Mechanical click in Steering
Dear Members,
I am suffering from a gap in steering. I have changed the rodes but even right after the alignment of the wheels, still have a small gap in the steering, so that I have to turn steering a little bit left to go straight. Also steering has always a tend to go left when I push the brakes and speed up, considerably.
In addition to this there is a mechanical clunk noise when I turn the steering at low speeds right or left, I can simply feel it as well as I hear. Also when I go on bumby road I can feel the same mechanical feel on the steering.
I am suspicious of a gap in lowershaft on steering coloumn. Could it be possibe?Could that cause two of the problems that I have mentioned above. Please assist. Many thanks.

I had such a problem before, my car was pulling to one side when only was pushing the brakes, but the steering was straight!
But today, rather than car pulls to one side, steering is irresistable at the middle.
