Got a wiring DVD, how to tell which electronic transmission is in the car?
I got a wiring diagram DVD off Ebay to help work on the transmission in my '99 C70 that is in limp home mode. I know the transmission is an AW 50-42 but the diagrams refer to three different versions.
Fenix 5.2, MSA 15.7
Denso, ME7
and MSA 15.8 for late '99 models
What do these designations mean and how do I tell which one applies to my car which has a build date of 1/99?

Never mind. After some digging I found that ME7 refers to the 5 cyl. 20V turbo that I have. Also, Denso is 5 cyl. 20V non-turbo, Fenix is 5 cyl. 10V, and MSA is the diesel.
