Default Just Bought 2000 C70 Problems

Looked at car & it idled smoothly - sputtered and stumbled when I tried to rev engine and then "ran out of gas". Bought it anyway, put in some gas, and got it 500' away to a station & filled with gas - now it will idle but will not rev enough to drive home!
Any ideas?
Also, heater/AC system will not turn off so I pulled the fuse.
Thank you very much for any help!
(Tomorrow I have to call AAA to get it towed home unless there's something simple a forum member might know about)

Not sure what you mean by Ars light. If you mean SRS, its indicating an issue with one of the airbags or supplemental restraint sensors. Not all OBD2 readers can view/reset so I suggest going to a dealer or Volvo friendly indy to get the codes read and reset. Some big box auto parts stores will also scan codes for free. If there's truly a fault (which is likely) the code will reset right away and you need to replace the indicated part or its related wiring. If its the ABS light, then you either have an ABS pump issue or the ABS controller. ABS controller faults may also present both ABS and the traction control light - and possibly a check engine light (for a speed sensor ).

I meant srs,fat thumbs, tiny keyboard lol. Car passed inspection with that light on,thank goodness. I only paid $1200 for the car would hate to pay a lot to fix a sensor

in my case, I had to replace a side air bag in the driver's seat to get the code to go away. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a dirty or loose connector. A simple thing to try is to check under the front seats to see if a connector got kicked out of place. The codes will tell you which SRS component is suspect as well.

Default Madness has struck!

I started this post when I bought the 2000 C70. I've done the following: New knock sensors; fuel filter; pulled & cleaned PCV system; new alternator; cleaned throttle; cleaned MAF sensor;hours of work and it still will not accelerate past idle. I'm going to pull the cat converter next...
Can anybody give me some ideas, please...
Thanks in advance.

A professional diagnosis can go a long way.

New throttle? New fuel pump? New MAF? All possibilities.

Another followup - new electronic throttle ans MAF sensor - runs great when cold and begins to stall when it warms up !!
Maximum frustration...
