Default Oil Change on 2006 C70

I have searched for this topic, but there is nothing on the new C70. So here it goes.

What type of filter does the 2006 C70 use? It looks like a replaceable filter element? Where is it? Is the car too low to drive up a metal ramp? Any special factory tools required? Thanks.

I haven't had to do one yet but if it is like the S40 then it is an element.
You will need a Short 36mm socket to get the housing off.

Not sure about the Ramps though.

Tech, is the 36mm socket a special Volvo tool, or just a a regular metric socket. Do I need a special tool to remove the filter housing?

You can get a regular SHORT 36MM socket and thats what you use to loosen and remove the housing.

The 36mm socket will cross reference for some Ford tools.
