RE: PULLED CODE PO455
I tightened the gas capnot that it seemed loose, but the light did not go out. I know my Benz will turn the check engine light out if the cap was a fault. I'm not as familiar with the Volvo. I just reset the light today, so I can see if it reappears. If it does and the problem is not the cap, where should I start looking? I tried searching but didn't find anything.
Thanks for the reply.
By the way, the forum has already been helpful in explaining a few other quirks.

If the cap is not the fault you will need to start checking the hoses from under the hood on the evap valve to the tank.
The evap valve is located on the cooling fan under the hood.
There is a hose going from the intake to the valve then another one going back to the fuel tank.
