Default replacing front contrl arm on 98 c70

I tried a search and came up with nothing(though my search guidelines may have been too specific)
i recently got a new set of control arms for the front on my 98 c70 and realized when trying to change them out today that on the passenger side the front bolts are blocked by the oil pan and on the drivers side both sets are blocked by the tranny.
my haynes manual is useless it just says to remove the bolts. my question is do i have to lift up the motor to remove the mounting bolts or is there another way?
I plan on getting to it in the early AM tomorrow and any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Ill get a picture when it stops raining, I wasn't able to get to working on it right away today due to the weather.
I don't know if this helps any, or of the s70 is the same. but on my c70 the inner mounting bolts are four bolts running from the inside of the uni body, and the motor sits low enough that the bottom of the oil pan sits even with the bottom of the uni body. there is just enough room I could loosen the bolts with a box end wrench but would not be able to get them out to replace them

No problem on the pics, I guess your control arms look like this...

Maybe you can put a box end on the inside and ratchet on the wheel side.

You can also look on this site and www.MatthewsVolvoSite.com for instructions.

yup that's exactly the control arm i have. and no i can't put a ratchet on the wheel side there is nothing to put it on.as you can see in the picture the bushing mount is threaded and is your nut on the wheel side.
thanks for the link i'll check it out to see if i get lucky there, i tried searching here but didn't seem to have much luck, the search engine results are always so vague

For some reason I do better searching 1 word searches like "CONTROL" and then fishing through the results. You can also try "CONTROL+ARM", using the + between the words but it still doesn't do as well.

Google works best.

I didn't notice the thread, was thinking a bolt when through the holes to a nut, that's what mine does, however, mine goes through fore to aft, there's a hole in the middle of the bushing that mounts to the frame.

yeah i think i may need to be a little less specific when i search and maybe ill do a little better on my searches.
your setup is what i'm normally used to working with. i thought this setup was neat till i started working on it.
well good news is i found some info on that link you gave me. the design is mainly used on the 4wd models and on the c70.
the bad news is the motor needs to be unbolted and jacked up to get to the bolts

well no shop needed, and no unbolting the motor either. i wasn't able to use about 1/2 of the new bolts but with a little bit of effort i got them both swapped out.
i sent the wife to town to pick me up a 17mm ratcheting wrench. if you jack up the drivers side of the tranny you can get about an inch of play on the mounts and get 3 outta 4 with the ratcheting wrench but still gotta use the regular box end on 1 of them. so now i'm rolling on new lower control arms, new front rotors and new brake pads all around,
it rides good but i think next on the list is new inner and outer tie rod ends then ill be riding perfect

I unbolted the Pass side motor mount, used a shop crane to pull the motor up about 2-3". Made it super easy to get an impact on it. PB blaster them first.

I replaced every piece of my front end, including the axles with no engine jacking. The only thing I didn't replace was the steering colume etc. Just used my hand tools and a rented spring compressor.
