Sloshing Noise after rain

Sloshing Noise after rain
After a pretty heavy rain, my 99 C70 made a loud sloshing noise from the rear of the car. It actually sounded like it came from the trunk, but I checked it out and it was dry. I read something about drain holes clogging up. Does that sound right? Exactly where are the drain holes on this year/model Volvo?
I am starting to feel like I purchased a wolf in sheep's clothing! The exterior looks great, but the engine/interior are causing me headaches! Thanks to this forum I have learned how to change a fuse, put in a new air filter, and replace the cabin air filter! Recentlythe Check Engine light was on and we took it to Auto Zone and the reading was something aboutEmissions. We tried something simple like opening and closing the gas cap and then reset the light. The light stayed off until I filled the car up with gas, then it reappeared! I am thinking there is a leak in the gas tank or do any of you have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Look in the metal section where the top folds into with it about half way in the middle of opening or closing. You will see drains towards the front make sure they are clear.

RE: Sloshing Noise after rain
Thanks, Tech.
For anyone who winds up here from a search, on my car the drains are black, perforated, round, plastic discs and about the size of a hockey puck, one on each side of the convertible top well. To me, they didn't look like drains but my view was distorted by 3 inches of water.
I easily cleared them with a gentle push with a bathroom plunger I use to clear the drain of my bathroom sink. Once I got it, it took 15 seconds to fix.

I found the four black drains. the rear two were easy to clean. the hard plastic perforated disk can be pried out from the larger rubber housing. I used a wet/dry shop to vacuum out the blockage, tested with water and it works correctly.
The two forward drains are not accessible for his method. I read that if the rear wheel and plastic inner fender are removed there is access to clean the drain.
