Water on floorboard after rain
I have a 98 S70 SW. After a rain I get lots of water on driver side of car floorboards. I park on a slight slant in my home driveway, and today (after heavy rain last night) there was 1 1/2 inches of rain puddled on floorboard behind driver's seat. Front floorboard was damp but incline seemed to puddle water in backseat floorboard. There is NO dampness at all on front or back of passenger side.
I don't know where to first to get this looked at and repaired. Volvo dealer? Neighborhood auto repair shop? Windshield repair shop?
I looked at seal around windshield and nothing looks bad. I do have a sunroof, but there is no water on dash or seats--only on floorboard.
Any ideas? I appreciate any help to steer me in the right direction.

I am back again with the same problem. I haven't taken the car anywhere to check out leak because I am afraid of getting ripped off.
Water puddles in driver floorboard and floorboard behind driver. Nothing on passenger side. It is about an inch of water after a hard rain.
I have been covering the sunroof and windshield with plastic tarp closing driver and passenger door to keep tarp in place. I thought it was working, but hard rain yesterday puddled the floorboard with about an inch of water. If it is NOT the sunroof and NOT the windshield, what would it be? Someone suggested taking inside panel of driver door off--that shield in there could be cracked.
What would anyone on this board suggest?
thanks

Thank you for the reply. Since I had the entire windshield covered--to include the bottom cowl, that wouldn't seem to fit the problem. The driver's side windows were NOT covered, but it doesn't look like that much water could get into openings around the window.
What do you think?

Tarp covered all of windshield including opening where wiper blades go. It covered to about a foot behind the sunroof. Did not cover side windows or back window on wagon trunk lid.
No wetness on fabric on inside roof. No water in seats. No water on center console. Only on driver and behind driver floorboard.
There was a bit of water in small compartment on inside driver door--could have been from lifting tarp, but I don't think so.
