Hi I am looking at upgrading my radio for something a bit more modern. I have bought one that has fairly standard looking wiring for the power but it has Jack plugs for the speakers, the car looks to have a din plug marked "Amp" has anyone done something similar, is there a converter "Din to Jack plug".
Any and all help greatly appreciated.

check eBay, Crutchfields etc for Volvo wiring harnesses.

 

I just replaced the radio in mine with a double din radio. We ran a rca cable to the trunk and patched the speaker wires in to the new amp that we had to add there. It sounds awesome.
