sqeaky front suspension
Ok I am doing some work on a friends C70 Convertable. She was told that the front ball joints and the struts needed to be replaced, so I replaced them(with used parts). But now the front-end sqeaks when she goes over even the smallest bump or dip in the road. I see there are bushing kits available, how hard are they to install? Is there a cheap place to buy new lower control arms? What about the struts? It creaks when I turn the wheel full right, could that be the strut mounts or plates?
Thanks for any and all responses!

Used parts for suspension? I believe you are working against yourself. At any rate, I spray motorcycle chain lube on the spring seats which rids my old c70 of the squeaks. Chain lube 'sticks' to the metal and does not wash off quickly. You might give that a try.

I don't using used suspension parts but she couldn't afford what the dealer wanted for new. I have found some that are less expensive then the dealer on-line including bushing kits. Probably better off doing the whole arm I guess.
