I just bought a 2004 C70. When I test drove the car the top was down and then we put it up with no problems. Tonight I went to put the top down and it wouldn't retract all the way. There seems to be a clicking noise coming from within the storage compartment on the drivers side like something is trying to latch but can't. I was able to drive it like this but then have to listen to the warning chime while driving. When we tried to put the top up it latched fine to the front above the windshield and the storage cover seems to come all the way back down but the rear of the top stays raised. We are able to manually pull the back section down but cannot get it to latch. I don't want to break anything so am trying not to force any mechanisms...have tried to see where it is hung up with no luck. I am hoping it is something simple...a few days ago before I handed over the money it seemed to work fine. Any thoughts please?
