Default turbo removal

Is there any postings or how-to regarding removing the turbo or turbo system maintenance? I've searched this site, the volvoclub.org.uk site, and looked on volvospeed. The only really helpful post is at the UK site where one guy had pictured instructions on rebuilding the turbo, but that assumes the turbo is already out of the car. Mine is 127k miles and I doubt it's ever been rebuilt or maintained (checking passages, etc). I thought I read it's something I should do at about my mileage. I'm still getting 30mpg on the hwy, it feels powerful for a 2.4l engine, so I don't think there's something seriously wrong with the turbo. But at times I wonder if there's any boost or if the boost should be more apparent. I have to listen real hard to hear any turbo whine, and never feel a strong kick at any RPM. Is it because I have a low pressure system and not a HPT? Besides seals and just generally checking the play, the blade, bearings, leaks, what other things need to be maintained for the turbo? Oil passages, actuator?

If the car has seen regular normal oil changes I would leave it alone.
Yes I think it is because it is a LPT.

My wifes 850 has 230K on the original turbo. Still puts out 12PSI all day long with no problems.

Well I'm not going to argue with that, saves me time and money! Previous owner claims oil changes every 3k with Mobile 1. Thanks.
