I am fed up of being scammed by garages - I am taking mine in on Monday to have the clutch recall atended to and thought I would combine with second service but I am worried garage will "lose" the cost of the recall ( which should be free to me ) in the service charges ! any thoughts ?

 

My Volvo dealer told me that he was reimbursed by volovo for recall work. I've used 3 Volvo dealers as I've moved around and never felt that they were trying to empty their parts department on me. A typical 7,500 mile service costs about $160, assuming that no repairs are needed.
