'01 License Plate Bulb fell into housing
Hi All - Well silly me,...I changed by license bulbs to LED (figured they would last forever - not). They were a bit of a tight fit, so tight that when I wanted to pull one out today, it broke apart and part of the bulb is now stuck in the bulb housing. I cannot seem to find a way to remove the housing to the get the bulb out... looks like there are 2 clips holding it in place, but it's not budging. Any idea how to remove so I can take the broken bulb out?
Thanks!
Anthony

On the Boot Lid (Trunk lid) there are plastic screws around the edge where the metal meets the inside trim.

its should be fairly simple to remove it but take precaution on the sharp metal frame!

No problem taking of the screws to remove the sound shield material. The problem I have is that when I tried to replace my bulb, it broke off inside the housing itself (the "box" with the clear lens right over the plate). I cannot reach into it to get the bulb out (due to the angle), so I would like to remove the housing lens entirely. It seems to clip in, but won't budge and I am scared to brake it if I force. Any ideas? Thanks
I do apologize about that, sometimes its a little difficult to say whats in my head :P
What I ment to say is that you can remove the entire housing from the Boot lid itself so you would have an easier time to take apart. I do admit that some plastic parts will break no matter what you do if the are really old and have been through many weather cycles.
