Default 07' s40 modding, yet keeping stockish.

Alright, rundown is an 2.4i, auto-stick, just got it and love it.
I want to keep it eligible for warranty by maintaining Oem parts, stock-ish appearence. I am particularly interested in lowering it a bit without compromising the stock shocks. Has anyone heard of interchanging springs from other models within the volvo family? (I.e stiffer rated, causes mild lowering?) I guess if i had to, I could go H&R and paint them w/ several coats of flat black and get them a little dirty so they look stock! I want koni's or bilsteins but if it goes in for service, the warranty co. seems to always find out and then void warranty on anything suspension related, steering, tie rods, bushings, lca's etc.. =(

I am considering Interchaging to a bigger size oem rim that will fit on the s40's lugs.. I believe i may have 5 lug.. I just got it.. haha, I wanna do 17x7 or bigger 18x7's maybe wider? To fill the wheel wells, and get more tire contact.

Does volvo have a highperformance part division? like mugen-honda, nismo-nissan, trd-toyota etc? Where we can stay oem and still mod?
