Modding out my volvo s40
Hi, I wanted to make my Volvo a bit more "zippier". I have a 2000 Volvo s40 1.9t I was thinking about getting the ecu reprogrammed and changing the innercooler and the Turbo to a hks aftermarket. Also some thicker tires probably 245-255
This is an NA spec one?
Well the ECU reprogram-1000ish probably
If you want a FMIC- Got to be custom fitted, lots of cutting metal and lots of snug lines, takes a very long time.
Turbo-Depends, plus how much boost you are running might need to change waste gate setup, and look forward to Check Engine lights,
Easy ones- Intake, like 200 if you buy, 20 if you make it like me
Then exhaust-Depends completely what you want.
