Hi all,

I have a s40 2000 model , i have an ABS issues. the abs light comes on when the car gets hot and the speedo stops working , the scan tool checks the system 100% no issues but only when cold. I have found that when hot we cannot get a reading from the brake system on the computer, i did go through a very bad and deep patch of water during bad weather one day. please any help would great.

Have you tried to do anything to trouble shoot the problem? Checked the sensor wiring or anything?

I changed sensors in the front ,swoped the modulator and pump with a second hand one but no change , same story sam issue no change.
I am going to double check with a diffrent modulator again maybe the other also faulty. were does the abs wires lead to in this car ,maybe wire fault but how.. bad earth...

 

Problem solved , ABS Module RIP . case closed.
