2001 s40 2.0T vs 2001 1.9T ?
Hi,
Just got a 2001 S40 2.0t. But most references to this car I see are S40 1.9t.
Is this just a marketing thing to confuse us, or is there really a difference in the engines?
At least I know it is a turbo....
Thanks,
Larry

There is only the 1,9t in an '01 S40 or V40.
Audi had (and still has) a 2,0t in their A4 sedan and wagons, but this wasn't used yet in '01. VW also uses this motor. Maybe someone stuck a badge off of one of these cars on your Volvo?
Hope this helps

Its 1.9T in the US and in the US only.Every other part of the world gets the 2.0T.Not sure where you are at but if its marked 2.0T then you must live outside of the US.The differences are not considerable there some in the way the engine bay looks like with the cover and the 2.0T has alegedly the weakest pistons.
